Improving Hygiene at Police Stations Stressed
Islamabad’s Inspector-General of Police (IGP), Qazi Jamil ur Rehman, has ordered the concerned officials to improve sanitation and hygiene at police stations in the capital.

According to the specifics, IGP Islamabad Qazi Jamil ur Rehman and DIG (Operations) separately visited Kohsar and Margalla police stations. They examined the water, sanitation, and hygiene conditions in the residential barracks of police stations. Additionally, they inquired about daily affairs with the Front Desk personnel.
During his remarks, the Inspector General of Islamabad called for the relocation of automobiles parked at police stations for an extended period of time in order to improve the environment. He also ordered the expeditious construction of residential barracks in police stations.

The IGP directed specifically for the improvement of cleanliness in the lockup, residential barracks, storeroom, and record room. Qazi Jamil ur Rehman also instructed police officials to expedite ongoing investigations and file challans with the appropriate courts.
