Karachi Board Releases Matric General Group Results for 2026

The Board of Secondary Education Karachi (BSEK) has announced the 2026 Secondary School Certificate (SSC) Part II (Class X) General Group results for both regular and private candidates, becoming the first education board in Sindh to release this year’s matriculation results.

Female students secured all three top positions in the examinations. Tooba Fatima of Hifaz Girls Secondary School, North Nazimabad, topped the board with 90.27 percent marks. Amina Asad of Lycee Bahadurabad School claimed second position with 87.82 percent, while Safia Munawar, also from Hifaz Girls Secondary School, secured third place with 87.73 percent.

According to BSEK, a total of 15,446 students registered for the examinations. Among them, 14,749 candidates appeared, while 697 students remained absent.

BSEK Chairman Prof. Musharraf Ali Rajput said the board successfully announced the results on schedule, crediting teachers and staff for their efforts. He reiterated the board’s commitment to maintaining transparency throughout the examination and result preparation process.

Controller of Examinations Ahmed Khan Chhutto formally announced the results under the chairman’s directions.

The chairman also revealed that the board has begun the computerized assessment of e-marked answer scripts for the SSC Part I (Class IX) annual examinations, aiming to improve the efficiency and transparency of the evaluation process.
