KP Adds Rs 8 billion Worth More Projects into ADP
Four administrative agencies of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa have filed nine new development projects totaling over Rs 8.64 billion for approval just four days before the end of the fiscal year.

The KP Planning and development department will also unveil three new projects, including a Rs5.87 billion special development package for Torghar, Rs109 million for Dag Besud Road in Nowshera, and Rs67 million for Pabbi road in Nowshera.
In the irrigation sector, Rs 80.5 million has been allocated for flood protection in Bahrain, Rs 498 million for the purchase of land for the Zumong Kor social welfare project in Peshawar, Rs46 million for a mobile food testing laboratory, Rs320 million for a testing laboratory, Rs 495 million for the upgrading of Jhalagram Category D Hospital in Malakand in Buner, and Rs 1.15 billion for the upgrading of DHQ Dagar Buner to a Category A hospital.

All of these ideas, according to P&D sources, will be presented for discussion following approval by the Provincial Working and Development party.
It should be noted that the cost of these projects has escalated by billions of rupees due to a lack of funding for the province’s annual development projects, the completion of which takes nearly 15 years.
