Rs 13 Billion for Agriculture Sector Development in FY22
The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has budgeted about Rs 13 billion for agriculture, livestock, and fisheries in the province for the forthcoming fiscal year (FY22) in an effort to increase production in the province.

In this context, Provincial Minister for Agriculture Mohibullah Khan stated that the PTI government has incorporated employment-generating and revenue-increasing projects in the development plan for the next fiscal year.
Mohibullah added that the KP government will implement 12 projects totaling 800 million rupees as part of the PM emergency initiative, as well as encourage olive production in tribal districts and reduce rural poverty through chicken farms.
Mohibullah stated that not only would it improve trout output in the province, but it will also supply trout to other regions of the country, creating thousands of local jobs.
According to a press statement from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Revenue Authority (KPRA), the sales tax on ten distinct services has been reduced to 1% for FY22.

In this context, KP Chief Minister Mahmood Khan and KP Minister of Finance Taimur Khan Jhagra gave directions to reduce tax rates on various service-related industries. The provincial assembly will enact the suggested modifications during the current budget session.
