KP Approved PKR 14.5 Billion for 115 ADP Development Projects
The Annual Development Programme (ADP) asks for 115 development projects, and the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has approved 14.5 billion PKR for them. These newly added initiatives pertain to the youth, sports, tourism, and infrastructure development industries.

According to the reports, the projects fall under the following categories:
Nine of the total 115 projects are new, while the remaining 106 are ongoing. The 115 projects include 29 for newly amalgamated districts and 77 for existing districts.
Under the Accelerated Implementation Programme, PKR 2.405 billion has been allocated for constructing new sports facilities and renovating existing sports infrastructure.
In addition to the PKR 146 million designated for visitor facilitation facilities, the World Bank (WB) will contribute PKR 3 billion to the establishment of four tourism development zones.
A budget of PKR 6,217 billion has been established for the construction of thirty nearly-completed development projects.
Each of the ten high-priority projects will receive PKR 37 billion, of which PKR 10 billion has been disbursed in the current fiscal year.

The projects were approved at the Annual Development Program (ADP) annual review meeting, which was chaired by Chief Minister Mahmood Khan and attended by Additional Chief Secretary Shahab Ali Shah, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Amjad Ali Khan, Secretary of Tourism Muhammad Abid Majeed, and Director General Sports Asfandyar Khattak, among other officials.
In addition, the audience was informed that six access roads would be constructed to the Hazara division’s tourist attractions as well as twelve separate Malakand division tourist spots.
