Kuwait to Resume Issuing Visas to Pakistanis After 10 Years
Kuwait will soon provide Pakistanis visas, according to an announcement made on Wednesday by Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid Ahmed. This service has been discontinued since 2011.
The minister told a press conference in Islamabad that Pakistanis would soon be allowed to inquire about work opportunities in Kuwait and apply for visas there.

Additionally, the minister stated that officers who have served in the ministry for 18 years will be replaced based on merit.
The minister stated that lowering the price of necessities is the government’s main objective and that Prime Minister Imran Khan has launched a Ramadan relief package of nearly Rs. 8 billion to help the people of the nation.

The minister also disclosed that Pakistan’s government is constructing two new dams that will produce inexpensive electricity and create jobs for residents.
He also commented on the Pakistan Democratic Movement’s (PDM) decision to postpone the long march, noting that it was a sensible move in light of the country’s increasing coronavirus cases and the approaching Ramadan holy month.
