Land Being Acquired for Degree College
District officials in Darra Pezu, where Lakki Marwat lives, have issued a Section 4 order to purchase land for a new boys’ college.
The Punjab Provincial Development and Water Projects Board has approved five different development programs.
In order to build a college in Lakki Marwat, the town’s deputy commissioner has announced that 50 kanals of the property will be acquired in accordance with the Land Acquisition (amended) Act, 2020.
Surveying of the area in question has been ordered by the appropriate authorities. The prior administration gave its blessing to the college construction plan, but a political fight sprang out over which location would be best.
Darra Pezu’s locals wanted the college to be built in their community, but certain powerful figures were pushing to move the project out of town.

According to a close aide of the Saifullah brothers, this writer, the Saifullah brothers, along with the former provincial minister Hisham Inamullah, worked to clear the way for the founding of the college.
The immediate start of construction on the university would be made possible, he claimed, by the enforcement of Section 4.
