LDA Launches e-Tendering System for Development Projects
Lahore: At its fourth meeting for 2021, the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) regulator approved the introduction of an e-tendering system for development projects undertaken by the agency, according to the information resource.

The aforementioned meeting was held under the chairmanship of SM Vice President Imran, while LDA General Manager Ahmed Aziz Tarar briefed the participants on the agenda.
The agency approved the land use conversion of Kot Lakhpat Mandi and allowed the construction of a hospital on 118 land channels with a capacity of 1,000 beds. The meeting adopted the agenda to financially empower WASA’s DMD (Operation).
In addition, 16 different specific land use authorizations under the approved regional development program. The meeting also approved the handover of control of the Johar Town Hockey Stadium to the LDA, while the lots 47, 48 and 49 of the Sabzazar Civic Center were handed over to the Women’s Development Organization. As a gesture of relief, the Dar Al-Sukun marketing fee, the Saeed Foundation validation fee, and the trust field conversion fee have been waived.
