LUB Syndicate Approves RS 7 Billion Budget
Thursday, the Islamia University of Bahawalpur (IUB) syndicate approved a budget of Rs7.20 billion for the current fiscal year, which represents a record commitment of Rs3.57 billion for the university’s development projects.

The syndicate approved the establishment of an IUB sub-campus at Liquatpur in Rahim Yar Khan, a cotton breeding institute, the opening of the department of civil aviation sciences and technology, and the launch of BS programs in aircraft maintenance and aviation management, according to an IUB press release.

The discussion also addressed the HEC’s stance on plagiarism and other academic and administrative issues.
