Motorola has unveiled the Moto G37 as the most affordable option in its latest Moto G series, launching alongside the Moto G87. The device targets budget-conscious users, offering 5G connectivity, a high refresh rate display, and a large battery, along with durability-focused features.
Design and Display
The Moto G37 comes with a 6.67-inch LCD featuring Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i.
For audio, the phone includes stereo speakers tuned with Dolby Atmos, along with Hi-Res Audio support and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
In terms of build, it measures 166.23 × 76.50 × 7.85mm and weighs 191g. It also carries IP64 splash resistance and MIL-STD-810H certification. The phone is available in Grey, Blue, and Maroon color options.
Internals and Software
Under the hood, the Moto G37 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chipset built on a 6nm process, paired with 4GB LPDDR4X RAM. Motorola also offers up to 12GB total memory through RAM Boost, which uses internal storage as virtual RAM.
Storage options include 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB (UFS 2.2), with support for microSD expansion up to 1TB. The device runs Android 16 with Motorola’s Hello UX, and includes features like Moto Secure, Gemini, and Circle to Search.
Cameras
The Moto G37 features a 50MP main rear camera with an f/1.8 aperture, PDAF, and quad-pixel binning for 12.5MP output. It also includes a combined ambient and flicker light sensor. Notably, there is no ultra-wide camera on this model.
On the front, the device has an 8MP fixed-focus selfie camera with an f/2.0 aperture. Both front and rear cameras support video recording at up to 2K resolution at 30fps.
Battery and Availability
The phone is equipped with a 5,200mAh battery (5,100mAh rated minimum for EU standards). However, Motorola has yet to confirm pricing or broader market availability.
