MoU Signed to Launch 5G Service in Peshawar
Peshawar: Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Minister for Information Technology Atif Khan stated that the debut of 5G service in Peshawar demonstrated the government’s dedication to modernising the IT industry.

This was stated during a ceremony held here to sign an agreement with Pakistan Telecommunication Corporation Limited.
Information technology secretary Dr. Ambar Ali, KP IT Board managing director Sahibzada Ali Mehmood, and PTCL officials also attended the occasion.

The minister stated that KP was the first province to reach a major milestone by launching 5G service in Peshawar on a trial basis.
According to him, the upcoming Annual Development Programme will enhance the IT sector’s annual budget to Rs 14 billion.
