NGO to Collect Donations for KDA Hospital Equipment
Kohat: A local welfare organization has decided to launch a campaign to gather donations for the KDA Teaching Hospital’s purchase of necessary equipment.

Tehreek-i-Tahaffuz-i-Kohat senior vice-president Nadeem Shehzada, vice-chairman Farhat Abdullah Paracha, and minority member Mehmood Gill stated at a news conference that they aimed to collect Rs 100 million by requesting Rs10 from one million individuals. They stated that the association would donate ten million rupees.
Members of the group stated that the lack of basic equipment at the district’s primary hospital pushed Kohat residents to seek medical treatment in Peshawar.

At a meeting with the association members a few months ago, MPAs Ziaullah Bangash and Shahdad Khan reportedly pledged to supply the hospital with all the necessary facilities within a matter of weeks, but to no effect.
According to them, corporations were producing oil and gas worth billions of rupees from the Kohat region but were unable to provide even 10 million rupees for the purchase of medical equipment.
