Millions of Overseas Azad Kashmir’s People to Get Voting Rights
The Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK) government consented to grant general election voting rights to roughly one million of its residents living abroad. The choice was made during a cabinet meeting that was presided over by AJK Premier Sardar Abdul Qayyum Niazi.

The cabinet also approved an Amendment Act that will establish a special fund in the area to aid widows and orphans financially.
In order to establish an open financial aid program for widows and orphans, it was also decided to gather data on Ehsaas program beneficiaries.

The implementation of a “one-dish” policy for weddings and other social events that must be completed before 10 p.m. was one of the other decisions taken during the cabinet meeting.
