Pak Economic Position to Improve till August: Fawad
Information Minister Fawad Chaudhry declared in Lahore that Pakistan is headed in the “correct way” and that by August 2022, the country’s economy will be much improved.

According to news reports, Mr. Chaudhry remarked that a phase in Pakistan has begun in which social protection programs will take effect, paving the path for an improvement in the country’s economic status. He disclosed that the PTI-led government had to pay $55 billion in obligations over the next two years, and that $32 billion had already been paid over the past three years.

The finance minister stated that we have been paying for the legacy left by Asif Ali Zardari and Nawaz Sharif, referring to the previous PPP and PML-N regimes. Mr. Chaudhry stated that Mr. Shahbaz Sharif dispelled the opposition’s perception that the nation was failing economically.
