Pak-Germany Trade Records 2.68 Percent Surplus in FY21
Pakistan’s goods and services trade surplus with Germany increased by 2.68 percent in fiscal year 2020-21 (FY21) compared to the same time in the prior fiscal year (FY20).

According to the State Bank of Pakistan, total exports to Germany increased by 15.98 percent to $1511.227 million from $1302.991 million during FY20 (SBP).
Meanwhile, on a year-over-year (YoY) basis, exports to Germany climbed by 31.87 percent during June 2021, from $110.212 million to $145.342 million.
SBP statistics shows that exports to Germany increased by 20.53 percent on a month-over-month (MoM) basis in June 2021, compared to exports of $120.577 million in May 2021.

Imports grew by 5.50 percent month-over-month in June 2021 compared to the $123.180 million imported in May 2021.
According to the figures, imports into the country climbed by 23.23 percent, from $43.645 billion to $53.784 billion.
The trade surplus for the year under review was $363.192 million, a 2.68 percent increase from the previous year’s surplus of $353.711 million.
