Pakistan-Bahrain to Mark MoU for Strengthening of Bilateral Trade
Islamabad: Pakistan and Bahrain decided to increase business-to-business (B2B) exchanges in order to advance trade and the development of commerce, according to news reports.
A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) would be developed for this purpose between the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibition Authority and the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP).

The declaration was made at the second Joint Ministerial Commission (JMC) meeting between Bahrain and Pakistan, which was held as part of Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi’s visit to Bahrain. The aforementioned JMC was founded in 2014, and the commission’s inaugural meeting was held in 2017. In order to foster cooperation in the shared domains, the parties also concurred on the holding of expert-level meetings.
Also, both nations agreed to work together in trade-related fields such as politics, economy, commerce, finance & banking, industry, public health, foreign employment, higher education, research & technology, information, culture & arts, agricultural & livestock, and technical disciplines.

Also, the third Joint Ministerial Commission (JMC) meeting would take place in Islamabad in 2022 under the agreement of both nations.
In a similar move, the Bahrain Development Board (EDB) and the Pakistan Board of Investment signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to promote bilateral investment between the two friendly nations.
