The long-lasting La-Nina wave has now transitioned to a neutral condition, as reported by the PMD, and will stay this way for the duration of the season.

The agency predicts near-normal precipitation for the majority of the nation, with a little bit less in northern Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and most of Gilgit Baltistan (GB).

Despite this, heatwave occurrences are probable, and seasonal average temperatures are likely to remain above average.

Due to the anticipated warmer temperatures, Rabi crops are projected to mature more quickly, and irrigation needs for Kharif crop output are anticipated to increase.
