Pakistan to Get Over 15M Dosages of Covid Vaccine
The Prime Minister’s medical special assistant, Dr Faisal Sultan, said that Pakistan has purchased 13 million doses of the Covid-19 vaccine from three Chinese companies and is expected to receive it within the next two months.

The Prime Minister’s aide said some 2.4 million doses of the AstraZeneca vaccine, part of the first batch of 14 million doses under the COVAX program run by the World Health Organization and GAVI, will also arrive and they could come. from Korea.
The COVAX program has committed to delivering 45 million doses domestically through the end of 2021, and deliveries will begin in March. However, India, the country that vaccinated AstraZeneca, has stopped supplying due to its own worsening Covid-19 situation.

Before the Muslim festival of Eidul Fitr, when hundreds of thousands of people usually attend religious gatherings, the country plans to close non-essential businesses, tourist attractions, parks, entertainment venues and public transport for two weeks starting May 6.
