Pakistan, Uzbekistan Discuss Transit Trade Agreements
Islamabad: Pakistan and Uzbekistan have decided to strengthen their trade ties while talking about the developments in their bilateral transit trade agreement, PTA, banking and visa issues, and cooperation in aviation and customs.
The conversations took place over video chat between Sardor Umurzakov, the deputy prime minister of Uzbekistan, and Abdul Razak Dawood, the adviser to the prime minister on commerce and investment.

The adviser was informed by the Uzbek deputy prime minister of the Uzbek delegation’s impending visit to Pakistan on March 12 for discussions on the aforementioned topics.
The Pakistani side greeted the visiting Uzbek delegation and offered its assistance in setting up meetings with various parties, including those involved in customs, maritime affairs, railways, and the aviation industry. The two parties agreed to carry out the decisions reached in Tashkent in February 2021 in letter and spirit.
