Pakistan’s Rice Exports Have Surpassed the $2 Billion Mark
The Prime Minister’s Commerce Advisor, Abdul Razak Dawood, disclosed on Twitter that Pakistan’s rice exports have reached $2 billion.

“We are extremely proud of our rice exporters since, despite all obstacles such as COVID-19, the global logistic crisis, rising freight costs, etc., they have managed to surpass the $2 billion USD milestone in exports,” he wrote on Twitter.

In the first month of the current fiscal year FY21-22, July 2021, Pakistan’s exports climbed by 17.3 percent to $2.35 billion.
