Pakistan’s Sazgar Team to Export a Consignment of Rickshaws
Pakistan’s automotive sector is gradually establishing itself on the international market. It was recently revealed that Sazgar Engineering Works Limited (SEWL) will export auto rickshaws to Ethiopia.

SEWL is an auto-rickshaw and other three-wheeled vehicle manufacturer established in Pakistan. It is the largest manufacturer, seller, and distributor of three-wheelers in Pakistan, as well as the sole exporter of three-wheelers or any Pakistani-made vehicle.
It just added fully-electric rickshaws to its lineup. This discovery has enabled SEWL to offer its products in nations with more robust Electric Vehicle (EV) ecosystems.

SEWL is one of the most prolific new automakers in Pakistan, having an impressive lineup of vehicles for the local automobile market. It had announced two months earlier that one of its new automotive industry partners, Haval, had been awarded Category-A Greenfield investment status to produce and sell vehicles in Pakistan.
A few unregistered BAIC automobiles have been spotted on Pakistani roads on rare occasions, but an official notification regarding their bookings or sales has yet to be made.
