PC-1 for Lahore’s Road Infrastructure Projects Sent for Approval
Lahore: According to a news source on July 12, the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) has submitted Project Concept-1 (PC-1) for the restoration of Burki Road, Babu Sabu, and Sagian Road to the Punjab government for approval. These project ideas are worth PKR 1.3 billion in total.

Details indicate that the LDA provided the Punjab Secretary of Housing the PC-1 for the repair and rehabilitation of Burki Road and Babu Sabu Road, while the plan for the construction of Sagian Road was sent to Planning & Development (P&D) for approval. The LDA Engineering Wing estimated that it would cost PKR 750 million to renovate the Sagian Interchange and Road. The Planning and Development Working Party will approve the project’s PC-1 (PDWP).

Also, it is predicted that building roads around Babu Sabu will cost PKR 240 million, and that dualizing Burki Road will cost PKR 400 million. The Secretary of Housing must approve PC-1s for any projects costing more than PKR 500 million, according to the established regulations.
