PDWP Favors Three Agriculture Projects
At a meeting held in Peshawar, the Provincial Development Working Group authorized three projects under the Agriculture Transformation Plan.

The committee approved a Rs 2.9 billion initiative to upgrade and improve tele-farming and digital services throughout the province, according to a statement published by the department of planning and development.
The livestock extension component entails the resurrection of 9,211 helpline services, the construction of a web portal and a mobile application for agricultural research, and the monitoring of field employees in real time to ensure transparency.

It authorized the over Rs 603 million’soil fertility mapping of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’ project. Within the scope of the project, 25 soil testing laboratories around the province will be improved, and an examination of 450 thousand soil samples will be conducted. Additionally, it would ensure the registration of farmers on an Android-based mobile application.
It was stated in the statement that the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s top priorities were the sustainable growth of the agriculture sector, the facilitation of farmers, and the assurance of food security, and that all available resources were being employed to this end.
