PDWP Supports 8 Development Schemes for Punjab
Abdullah Khan Sumbal, chairman of the Planning & Development Board, presided over the 39th meeting of the Punjab Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP) in Lahore.
The specifics of the projects that were authorised are as follows:
Allocation of PKR 1,693.187 million for the 76.50-kilometer Shahpur Bhera-Malikwal road’s renovation in the Sargodha District

PKR 1,311.509 million has been made aside for the building of a bypass in Sahiwal that would go 13.70 kilometres from the Royal Hotel (N-5) to Sarwar Chowk.
To be utilised by the Punjab Agriculture Food and Drug Authority is PKR 6,322.43 million.
A budget of PKR 11.950 million has been set aside to provide technical support for the Naya Pakistan Housing Program’s rapid housing market assessment (NPHP)

Allocation of PKR 6,558,788 million for the M-2 road’s reconstruction between Narowal and Muridke Interchange (75.21km)
The Lower Topa Murree to Chowk Pandori through Kotli Station tourist roadway would cost PKR 4,039.788 million to build and restore (123.62 km)
PKR 745.879 will be spent on a 15-kilometer road repair project from Dera Ismail Khan to Darya Khan.
Punjab would spend PKR 5,323.189 million on the genetic improvement of unremarkable cattle.
