PKR 58 Billion Approved for Sindh Development Projects
Tuesday in Karachi, the Sindh cabinet reportedly authorized PKR 58 billion in debt assistance money for current Public-Private Partnership (PPP) projects (January 18). The conference, chaired by Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah, also authorized four billion Pakistani rupees for various health infrastructure projects around the province.

The cash have reportedly been allocated for the province’s nine current development initiatives. The following is a breakdown of the budget for the project.
- 13.1 billion PKR for the Malir Expressway
- $7,300,000,000 for the Karachi Hub Canal
- 4.3 billion rupees for the Mauripur Expressway
- 830,000,000 PKR for Regional Blood Centres

- 19.2 billion kyats for the Nabisar-Vajihar waterworks
- PKR 862 million for the Karachi-Thatta carriageway, PKR 440 million for the Children’s Hospital in North Karachi, and PKR 6.73 billion in total. Ghotki-Kandhkot bridge on River Indus
