Planning Work Begins for Peshawar’s Gandhara Valley City
Peshawar: According to media reports, the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) government has begun the design and feasibility study for Gandhara Valley City in Peshawar.

The planning and feasibility work for Gandhara Valley City will be divided up and delegated to other consultancies, the administration has determined. The process will take five months to finish, according to the information provided. In addition, the Peshawar Development Authority has been tasked with building Gandhara Valley City (PDA). Ammara Khan, Director General (DG) of the PDA, stated that the feasibility study will outline all of the project’s salient features.
Akbar Ayub Khan expressed his appreciation for PDA’s performance during the meeting and anticipated that all projects will be finished on schedule.

In addition, the provincial minister has mandated that the district administration and Planning & Development Department collaborate closely with the PDA to expedite the approval of PC-1 and the acquisition of land for the Warsak Road- Nasir Bagh segment of Ring Road.
Similarly, the minister disclosed that the construction of a modern bus terminal close to BRT Chamkani Depo has been delayed due to PC-1 and land acquisition. In addition, he requested that the expansion and beautification of the Pir Zakori Bridge and Hayatabad-Detour Road be expedited.
