PM Imran Urges Use of Technology to Enhance Crop Yields
Prime Minister Imran Khan recommended the use of research and technology to improve agricultural production to meet the ‘dramatically’ growing needs of Pakistan’s population.

The premier made these statements while attending a Kisan Card distribution ceremony for local farmers in Dera Ismail Khan and the inauguration of the Command Area of Gomal Zam Dam and the Arid Research Stations of the Pakistan Agriculture Research Council.
The prime minister reaffirmed that the nation must plan for its rising population and stated that the current year’s inflation rates have not been seen in the previous twenty years.

PM further emphasized his opinion that any crop can be grown in Pakistan, making daily consumables more affordable and accessible. The prime minister insisted that the administration consider “the next generation and not the next elections.”
After resolving a land dispute between the Masood and Wazir tribes, the premier stated that the federal government will divide DI Khan into two districts for each tribe.
