PM to Perform Groundbreaking of Three Projects on 12th
Prime Minister Imran Khan is expected to lay ground on three big projects in the province capital of Lahore on July 12. (Monday).

In the constituency of Hamza Shehbaz, leader of the PML-N, are being erected two projects: the Sheranwala Gate flyover and rainwater harvesting/management. The third project is the overhead bridge at Shahkam Chowk.
Regarding the PTI’s emphasis on infrastructure development projects in Lahore, the PML-stronghold, N’s according to official sources, the visit of the prime minister is seen extremely significant.
From the Naulakha Police Station to the Sheranwala Gate, the Rs 4,900,000,000 Sheranwala Gate project includes a kilometer-long flyover (perhaps the longest in the city).
The 400-meter-high bridge is designed to alleviate traffic congestion on Circular Road, where around 121,421 vehicles pass daily. The cost of the project comprises about 2 billion rupees for the purchase of 22 kanals of land.

The Rs 4.3 billion Shahkam Chowk overhead project intends to improve public mobility on Link Canal Road (from Thokar Niaz Beg to Shahkam Chowk), traffic congestion at Shahkam crossroads, and highways connecting Bahria Town, Mohlanwal Stop (Multan Road), and New Defence. The contractor started working on the project last month.
