Private Sector Keen to Construct More than 3 Mn NPHP Units
Islamabad: According to news sources, the renowned government residential project, Naya Pakistan Housing Program (NPHP), has received around 320 offers from various private companies to construct more than 3 million housing units.

The information was given during a meeting of the Policy Board of the Naya Pakistan Housing and Development Authority. The summit also revealed that almost 45,000 low-cost housing units are now being constructed around the nation.
The conference also revealed that the banks had received approximately 70,858 loan applications, amounting to approximately PKR 269,8 billion under the government’s subsidized housing finance plan. Currently, banks have released 33.4 billion Pakistani rupees for 33.4 billion Pakistani rupees.

The board members also reviewed numerous other agenda items, including the Naya Pakistan Housing and Development Authority Internship Program and the selection of sites for NAPHDA public-private partnership projects.
