Punjab Govt Private Security Will Be Hired to Patrol Parks
Following the horrifying incidence of a woman being abused in Greater Iqbal Park, the government of Punjab has decided to employ private security firms to police vital parks.

The administration of Punjab is reportedly planning to replace the outdated cameras within a week, according to sources. The PHAs, on the other hand, intended to train their security employees to become a baton-wielding force.
Asif Mehmood, Advisor to the Chief Minister, indicated that orders had been issued to install lighting in the parks. According to Asif Mahmoud’s advisor, PHA is responsible for women’s protection in parks.

Private security guards armed with motorcycles would patrol the parks. In addition, the Punjab government has requested the Punjab Housing Authority to install surveillance cameras in every park in the province.
