Proposal to Avail 5% Property Tax Rebate Ends

According to news reports, the Punjab Excise, Taxation, and Narcotics Control Department discontinued the 5% property tax rebate in Lahore.

The rebate scheme expired on September 30, and the 10% discount on e-pay (e-Pay Punjab) tax payments has been reduced to 5% as of the same day.

On October 1, property owners who have not submitted their taxes will be required to pay the full amount, with only a 5% discount for e-payments.

According to reports, the incentive was implemented earlier this month, and those who failed to pay their taxes on time were warned of legal implications.
