Punjab Announced Free IT Training for 1 Million Youngsters
ISLAMABAD, January 20, 2023- CM Punjab has announced free online IT training for one million youngsters.
The Punjab chief minister, Chaudhry Parvez Elahi, has declared that one million young people will receive free online IT training to help them become self-sufficient. The Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) and Re-Skills, a Malaysian company for online learners seeking information, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for this purpose. Under the terms of the agreement, youth will receive free online IT training. These training programs will generate millions of self-employment chances.

Free training will be provided to young people between the ages of 16 and 30. The training would be funded by a technical grant of $12 million from the Malaysian business to the Punjabi government. The prime minister noted that the young people will have access to premium learning accounts for a period of one year and that the government will offer local and international technology companies every facility necessary to support the training program. The training will be offered via a digital platform that youths with cell phones can easily access.
