Quetta to Get High-Rise Buildings, New Building Codes
According to media sources, the Balochistan government has decided to construct high-rise buildings and draught new construction rules for the province.

Dr. Imran Zeb Khan, federal secretary for housing and works, met with Balochistan’s chief secretary, Mathar Niaz Rana, to discuss a variety of topics, including housing initiatives. Officials concurred at the discussion that the construction codes will be updated due to technological progress. He also claimed that it is time for the construction of high-rise buildings in Quetta and the surrounding areas.
Mr. Khan stated that the federal government will assist Balochistan with its housing issues. As part of Prime Minister (PM) Imran Khan’s programme, the government has already initiated housing schemes in the province, he continued.

According to Chief Secretary Mathar Niaz Rana, the public has great expectations of the government. He added that Chief Minister Jam Kamal Alyani will utilise all available resources to safeguard the welfare of the populace. Additionally, he added that a colony will be built for the fisherman and that the federal government will assist with the project.
