Ramps Being Built for Differently-abled People: CDA
Islamabad: According to the Capital Development Authority (CDA), building on specialised ramps and restrooms in parks and markets to accommodate people with disabilities is underway.

According to a news statement from the CDA, parking spaces will also be allocated close to ramps in compliance with global norms.
With the help of these initiatives, people with disabilities will be able to enjoy themselves in recreational spaces and engage in healthy activities.
Also, it stated that the concerned departments are working on lane marking and safety science throughout the city.

It is important to highlight that many public and private buildings in Islamabad, particularly the historic double-story buildings for the CDA and MCI, are inaccessible to those with disabilities because they lack ramps or lifts.
