Rawal Dam Chowk Interchange Expected to be Completed in 2022
Monday in Rawalpindi, the Chairman of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) together with members of engineering and other senior authorities examined the progress of the Rawal Dam Interchange and 7th Avenue Interchange projects.

The chairman of the CDA asked the officers to put reflectors around the Rawal Dam Interchange site to aid commuters and to complete the project’s slip roads. This month, the roads will be open to traffic. In addition, the chairman instructed the relevant personnel to ensure the high quality of the construction work and to increase the rate of work. The deadline for the Rawal Dam project was October 2022, however it is projected to be completed by June 2022.

The Director also recommends that the CDA and traffic police personnel devise a plan for traffic diversion. In this manner, individuals will experience no problem and will avoid losing valuable time. The chairman of the CDA instructed the Environment Wing to choose suitable locations in both projects and plant as many trees as possible. The CDA management instructed the relevant departments to expedite their efforts. He also instructed officials to utilize all available resources to complete both projects. The citizen will no longer be inconvenienced by traffic delays.
