Nadeem Nasir instructed officials to decide cases strictly according to merit, transparency and applicable laws. He emphasized that no external pressure or recommendations would be accepted during the process.

Action Ordered on Joint Property Cases
The deputy commissioner directed officials to ensure the prompt partition of land held in joint accounts, with each owner receiving their lawful share. He also called for detailed reports on cases involving individuals claiming ownership without valid legal rights.
Officials were further instructed to recommend legal action against illegal occupants and people submitting false or baseless applications.
Focus on Resolving Land Disputes
Captain (r) Nadeem Nasir said providing timely justice to citizens is a key responsibility of the district administration. He noted that more than 80% of cases pending in courts are related to land disputes, highlighting the need for faster resolution of property-related matters.
He said resolving such disputes efficiently could help reduce the workload on courts, police and revenue departments while providing relief to citizens involved in prolonged land ownership cases.

During the meeting, assistant commissioners presented cases from their respective tehsils, while station house officers from the relevant police stations also participated in the proceedings.
The district administration’s latest directives underline its focus on transparent property dispute resolution and protection of legal ownership rights in Rawalpindi.
