RDA Tax Collection Reached PKR 2 Billion in FY-22
Rawalpindi: Rawalpindi Development Authority (RDA) Chairman Tariq Mahmood Murtaza announced the collection of PKR 2 billion in tax revenue generated in the current fiscal year 2021-22, news sources reported.

Furthermore, chairman Murtaza added that the administration has digitized building land records dating back to 1989. The authority will function more efficiently as a result of digitization and the development of one-window operation for construction plan approvals.

Mr Murtaza went on to say that following the formation of the IT cell, the authority would be paperless in a month, and the approval of the house map will take 45 days, the commercial map 45 days, and the housing society map 65 days.
All of these structures will be constructed as model housing plans in place of the city’s existing slums. In addition, he announced the start of four mega-projects: Ammar Chowk, Kutchery Chowk, Defence Chowk, and Leh Nullah Expressway.
