Real Estate Investment Scheme for Overseas Pakistanis in UAE
President Dr. Arif Alvi reportedly launched the Roshan Apna Ghar programme for Pakistanis who do not reside in the UAE in Islamabad.
Through central and private institutions, the programme will enable the Pakistani diaspora residing in the UAE to engage in Pakistan’s real estate
President Alvi believes that the NRPs are a resource for Pakistan and that they should invest in the country’s real estate industry to help the growth of the national economy.
This was stated during his talk at the inauguration of a real estate show for UAE-based NRPs that was organised by Pakistani banks and real estate firms. According to him, the Roshan Digital Account (RDA) gives unique opportunities and incentives for investing in and purchasing real estate in Pakistan.

According to State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) Governor Reza Bakir, RDA account holders would be able to acquire homes, build homes on their existing plots, or remodel their dwellings through a central bank programme in conjunction with commercial banks.
He stated that the RDA initiative has been a success since its launch in September 2020, accumulating USD 2.5 billion.
