Road Connecting Centre Point with DHA-Lahore to Be Signal Free
According to a news source, Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar recently approved preliminary designs for the construction of an underpass at Khalid Butt Chowk and a one-way flyover at Ghora Chowk in Cavalry.

These improvements would create a signal-free corridor between Centre Point (Gulberg) and the Defence Housing Authority (DHA) in Lahore.
According to available information, the project is estimated to cost PKR 2.7 billion and will aid in signal-freeing the entire Gulberg neighborhood. National Engineering Services Pakistan will do the preliminary planning for the proposal put up by the Lahore Development Authority (LDA) (NESPAK).

Khalid Butt Chowk will be equipped with a four-lane wide dual carriageway and a two-way underpass in order to render Gulberg signal-free and enable speedy access to DHA, Cantt, and Cavalry via Gulberg. At Ghora Chowk in Cavalry, a three-lane, one-way, overhead bridge will be built to connect Cavalry to the DHA.
In addition, Defence Morr and Walton Road will undergo renovations. According to reports, the initiative will help 150,000 motorists daily.
