RS. 299 Million Approved for Gandhara City Feasibility
Peshawar: The Khyber Pakhtunkhwa government has authorized spending Rs 299 million to hire experts to conduct a feasibility study, complete thorough planning and designing for the projected Gandhara Valley City, and build an approach road from the GT Road.

It is important to note that the Peshawar Development Authority (Amendment) Bill, 2021, for purchasing the land for the projected Gandhara City, has already been approved by the provincial assembly.
The Peshawar Development Authority (PDA) is now authorized by the bill to purchase property and distribute developed plots to landowners using the well-known one-fourth formula.
The provincial government has expanded the PDA’s authority to six more areas of the provincial capital in light of the development boom.

Kohat Road up to Peshawar urban limits, Nasir Bagh Road beginning at Jamrud Road, Warsak Road from Khyber Road until the northern bypass, Charsadda Road beginning at Bacha Khan Chowk and continuing for 7.5 kilometers, and all areas notified for the Gandhara City are among the new areas that have been proposed to be notified as the authority’s area.
