Rs 86.9 Billion Projects to Be Launched in Rawalpindi
According to the Punjab Annual Development Programme (ADP), up to 500 new development projects totaling Rs 86.9 billion will be unveiled in Rawalpindi division the following month. It would be made sure that the projects are finished by the deadlines specified.

During the meeting of the Divisional Development Working Party (DDWP), which assessed the status of the current development projects in the Rawalpindi division, covering the four districts of Rawalpindi, Attock, Chakwal, and Jhelum, Commissioner Syed Gulzar Hussain Shah made the statement.
Mr. Shah emphasised that the quality of the project work would not be compromised, and that the projects would be regularly monitored.

Three projects from the Building Department, one from the Highway Division, and three from Wasa were also reviewed and authorised at the meeting.
The building department’s plans called for the construction of a government college for women in Garhi Sikandar, a government high school for women in Taxila City, and a government high school for women in the Malikabad neighbourhood of the Jalala Union Council.
