Islamabad: A technology firm from Islamabad has raised $1.4 million from Silicon Valley investors, demonstrating the country’s expanding IT sector.
Tim Draper, a billionaire investor, Hustle Fund Ventures, and other well-known angel investors from Silicon Valley also participated in the round, which was led by Indus Valley Capital.
By utilising the pandemic, RemoteBase allowed Pakistani software developers and engineers to collaborate with Silicon Valley firms, developing a business model that attracted one of the largest seed round investments for any Pakistani startup.
