Settler Begins Constructing Steel Overlooking Al-Aqsa Mosque
Yesterday, the Israeli Jewish settlement organization Elad began building on a steel structure overlooking Al-Aqsa Mosque, according to Al-Resalah.
According to native sources, the brand new structure would likely be positioned in close proximity to the southern wall of the Previous City in an area acquired by Elad 15 years ago and referred to by the settler organizations as the Metropolis of David.
According to the sources, the structure is adjacent to land owned by the Palestinian Somreen family in the Silwan district of Wadi Al-Hilwa.
Al-Resalah noted that Elad was founded in 1986 and has served as the non-governmental face of the Israeli occupation’s settlement projects.

According to news websites, a few days ago, an Israeli rabbi placed a job advertisement including an image of the Dome of the Rock and requesting the hiring of a specialist in the destruction of buildings.
In the meantime, an area study documented 2,124 Israeli breaches against Palestinians in October, including the destruction of 14 homes, 74 commercial and agricultural structures, and the confiscation of 28 services.
