Shaukat Khanum Cancer Hospital in Karachi to Open in 2023

Premier Imran Khan visited the building site of Shaukat Khanum Memorial Trust (SKMT). The Prime Minister tweeted that he hoped to open the facility in 2023.

The prime minister noted that the cancer hospital “would be double the size of SKMT Lahore and will offer the most advanced diagnosis and treatments.”

The Shaukat Khanum Memorial Trust was established in honor of Imran Khan’s mother, who died of cancer in 1985, by constructing hospitals, labs, and research centers around Pakistan.
