Sialkot-Kharian Motorway Project Promoting Industrial Area
Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan laid the foundation stone for the 69-kilometer Sialkot-Kharian highway project in Islamabad.

The project is important and feasible in terms of promoting the connection to industrial area leading to growth in economic activity, and it is essential to provide incentives to the industrial sector for promotion and growth in order to create wealth in Pakistan so that the debt burden can be reduced, as stated by the prime minister.
He added that the government is doing its utmost to eliminate obstacles and complexities for small and medium-sized businesses.

The prime minister is optimistic that in the future additional projects will be won and private sector capital will be spent in infrastructure, and he praised the private sector’s participation in the motorway project, stating that it will help the government invest in other areas.
