Rawalpindi: According to news sources, the Pakistan Railway (PR) has decided to install solar energy systems in the country’s major railway stations. The procedure will be completed in stages. The PR has planned to solarize Margalla Railway Station, Chaklala Railway Station, and Rawalpindi Railway Station in the initial phase.

Regarding this project, the PR has requested that the Divisional Superintendent (DS) of Railway provide a realistic report. Moreover, it was disclosed that a substantial amount of money will be saved on electricity expenses as a result of this endeavor.
