State Land Recovered in Peshawar Operation
In a crackdown on encroachments, the Peshawar district administration reclaimed valuable state land and detained 14 persons under 3 MPO (maintenance of public order) on Wednesday.

A team of officials led by the assistant commissioner of the city, Dr. Ihteshamul Haq, conducted operations in various locations on the GT Road adjacent Jinnah Park and Dalazak Road and collected commercial state land property.
According to a statement published by Peshawar’s deputy commissioner Khalid Mehmood, the operation resulted in the recovery of nine kanals and eight marlas of land valued billions of dollars. The unauthorized constructions were dismantled using heavy machinery.

On this occasion, large police forces were mobilized to prevent any mishaps. However, 14 individuals were arrested for interference in violation of 3 MPO.
Other relevant department officials, including Sharafatullah of the Auqaf department and extra assistant commissioner Hababullah, were also present.
