Sukkur-Hyderabad Motorway (M6)’s Development to Start After ECNEC’s Approval
Islamabad: According to news sources, Federal Minister for Planning and Development Asad Umar stated that the 306-kilometer Sukkur-Hyderabad motorway (M6) will begin construction once the Executive Committee of the National Economic Council (ECNEC) gives its approval.

The minister informed the media that the federal government has dealt with all technical and financial obstacles to the construction of the motorway. He went on to say that NADRA registration offices will be set up in each Sindh district.
The Sukkur-Hyderabad (M6) motorway is Prime Minister Imran Khan’s most significant announcement for Sindh’s development packages.

A development package worth PKR 446 billion has been announced by the PM for the development of neglected Sindh districts in the areas of communication, irrigation, power supply, and sports projects.
The package includes the following projects: improving 14 passport offices, rebuilding 200,000 acres of agricultural land, developing the Nai Gaj Dam, which will irrigate 28,800 acres, installing 30,000 new power connections, and providing gas to 160 villages are just a few of the projects that will be completed.
