The Islamabad traffic police have created a specific route in order to avoid disruptions to the general public and ensure smooth traffic during PSL season 9.
Tomorrow, the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium will host two matches: Islamabad United vs. Quetta Gladiators in the evening at 7 p.m. and Lahore Qalandars vs. Peshawar Zalmi at 2 p.m.
All teams will be guaranteed to be at the location 2.5 hours prior to kickoff. During the matches at Rawalpindi, the peak travel hour, from 9.30 pm to 2.30 pm, would see heavy traffic in the twin towns.

All of the teams are presently staying at the Serena Hotel, and tomorrow, in addition to several detour routes, one major route will be used for the teams’ departure and return from the hotel.
There will be 18 route stops between the departure site and the destination point for the team busses, which will leave from the Serena Hotel and travel down the Srinagar Highway to the ICCO parking in the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.
The teams will exit the hotel via detours like Radio Pakistan Chowk and France Turn. After that, the route will be extended to Dhokari Suharwardi and the Kashmir Highway.
Following their completion of the Srinagar Highway, the team busses will travel to the Pakistan Convention Center, where, in the event of an emergency, they can reroute via Kashmir Chowk.
Subsequently, the road will go in the direction of Margalla Motel and veer off at Sports Gate No. 1, close to Committee Chowk in Rawalpindi. Ultimately, the route will come to an end at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium’s main gate, where the team busses will arrive at the ICCO parking area.
Traffic may be moved more smoothly during peak hours and office times during the day by using diversion points like the Aabpara Chowk Kashmir Highway. The PSL Season 9’s Rawalpindi leg will start tomorrow, and nine matches will be held at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium through March 10.
