Timeline Set to Revise Islamabad’s Master Plan
According to press accounts, Islamabad’s newly formed body for the city’s master plan has devised a timetable for its revision. The panel determined that the revision of the master plan will be completed in six months.

Following a review meeting at the Capital Development Authority (CDA) presided over by Chairman Amer Ali Ahmed, the aforementioned information was made public. According to Commission Secretary Zafar Iqbal, the panel has established eight independent committees to ensure the assignment is completed within the specified time frame.
According to the material supplied, the committees would have the authority to consult with experts and consultants in order to address the problems encountered by the people.
This month will see the completion of the Hakla-DI Khan Motorway on the CPEC’s western leg.
Before altering the master plan, the panel will analyze 3,600 square kilometers of neighboring territories, including Rawalpindi and Haripur.
